“It’s simply perfect.”

“This is paradise.”

“I come here to escape.”

This is a sample of quotes I’ve heard about one amazing place.

The United States has a lot of locales with amazing scenery, oceanside beaches and character.

I’m not sure if any single place has as much of all three as Amelia Island.

Tucked in the corner of northeast Florida, it’s the southernmost of the Sea Islands.

The islands stretch for some 300 miles and conclude with Amelia Island.

I’ve been to the island many times. Today, I want to share some information about it that you don’t want to miss.

And neither does your portfolio.

Amelia Island

This idyllic beach town is named after the daughter of King George II of England. His forces drove the Spanish out of this subtropical venue in 1702.

It wasn’t the first time the island would change crowns. Nor would it be the last.

It’s the only place in the U.S. to have been under eight different flags, including French, Spanish, Mexican, Confederate and American, among others.

When you come here, you’ll see what they were all fighting over and why this is unlike any other investing summit.

Canopy roads dot the landscape, making drives so beautiful you forget you’re in a car.

While you get your fill of financial strategies, you’ll be in one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the world.

The clouds of Amelia Island are expressive. And so are the trees:

While you get your fill of financial strategies, you’ll be in one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the world.

Today, hundreds of years after England claimed Amelia Island, it remains unblemished.

Well, maybe a little blemished.

Its historic downtown is home to quaint shops and sunset views. But it’s also home to the Palace Saloon, the oldest bar in Florida, and Marlin & Barrel, a local distillery.

If your whistle gets dry, you’ll want to visit both places to fix it.

While you get your fill of financial strategies, you’ll be in one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the world.

Residents and visitors alike enjoy much to do … so long as you don’t require skyscrapers to do them in.

Nature abounds. You can golf or hike, kayak or fish, surf or swim … or simply spend your day in the spa.

Once you’ve done so, Amelia Island offers more than 100 restaurants … a big number for a place with 30,000 people.

If you enjoy shrimp and Southern charm, this is where you want to be. It’s the birthplace of the U.S. shrimping industry.

Restaurants serve shrimp — and other tasty seafood — almost straight off the boat. Or, you can just buy shrimp straight off the boat.

The best place on Amelia Island to enjoy many of these activities and relax blissfully afterward is…

Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort

If Amelia Island is paradise, the Omni resort is its gem.

It has 1,350 acres to itself … with all the amenities you would expect at an acclaimed retreat. This is just a sampling:

  • Full-service luxury spa and salon.
  • Miles of beach.
  • Indoor and outdoor pools.
  • Thirty-six holes of championship golf.

Total Wealth Symposium 2019

The Total Wealth Symposium is Banyan Hill’s premier event of the year. It’s a one of a kind, Florida investing summit.

We’re assembling the best minds in finance at the Omni from September 12 to 14 to help you navigate these markets.

Banyan Hill’s own Paul , Jeff Yastine, Matt Badiali, Ted Bauman, Ian King and others will tell you what’s happening in today’s markets … and how to prosper.

And this year, we’re excited to welcome a very special guest. You likely know the name of nationally renowned money management expert and talk show host Dave Ramsey.

His radio show and financial teachings have helped millions of Americans take control of their finances and grow their wealth.

He’s one of the experts you most need to listen to today.

Making money when the market is going up is one thing. Dealing with the trials and tribulations of a sideways market and global angst is another.

Combining Banyan Hill’s experts with Dave Ramsey — all on one stage — creates a financial dream team you need to listen to.

And remember: While you get your fill of financial strategies, you’ll be in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Overall, your experience this September will be second to none and no other investing summit could come close.

I look forward to meeting and talking to you there.

P.S. I’ve spent the last year developing an options service that will prosper in good times and in bad. My system follows the market’s momentum and identifies the stocks most affected by it. I’ll discuss it in public for the first time at the Total Wealth Symposium.
