After-hours continues to be the best time for me to trade.

Last Friday, I bought Future FinTech Group Inc. (FTFT) when it was in the $1.20s…

This is the kind of trade that can really move the needle…

It was moving so fast that by the time I got in, I was chasing a little.

Still, I took the trade.

And even though I was a little late, it was a PERFECT small account trade.

I took a small position at $1.58. My goal was to make 10%–20%.

FTFT, 8/28/26, after-hours winner.

I locked in +36% gain in five minutes. Needless to say, it felt like I should’ve gone bigger.

But I don’t regret taking a small position because it was up so much (and STILL moving fast). It was better to play it safe.

FTFT continued to spike +129% in after-hours before it started to fade…

It was pretty crazy.

2 Rules for After-Hours Trading

There are a TON of fast spikers in after-hours, so don’t feel bad if you miss one (or sell too soon).

There’s always another one to practice on.

But also recognize that this is a choppy market, so follow these two rules…

1. Take the Trade Fast and Lock It In. Don’t fall in love or overstay. If it’s too scary, trade small (or paper trade) for a while.

2. Never Force Trades. It’s okay not to trade if your schedule doesn’t match. If you’re only available to trade for a few hours per day, or every few hours like I have been the past few days, pick your spots CAREFULLY! (This one applies to after-hours, regular hours, and premarket trading, too.)

I want to congratulate all those prepared traders who took advantage of FTFT and all the other spikers we’re seeing.

Trading isn’t rocket science, but the market punishes traders who aren’t prepared (or get too cocky).

The other side of that is that there is a finite amount of knowledge you need to succeed at trading.

After that, it’s down to experience and discipline.

Now go study.
