Do you understand what a crazy, obsessive work ethic looks like?
It’s that level of obsession that creates massive success…
It’s the obsession that creates excessive results…
I truly believe in obsession.
Yes, I know it can be unhealthy. And I admit to having some unhealthy habits in my life.
But obsession with studying is NOT one of them.
Obsession with studying is a MUST…
Focus On How Trading Works
Obsession with studying is not just about the money.
Try to understand how the game works, rather than just memorizing patterns.
That way, you can see different angles when there’s an opportunity.
It’s no different from me becoming a teacher instead of running a hedge fund.
I saw more opportunity in just being real as a teacher (because nobody else was doing it).
In fact, I’ve done FAR better at teaching than I did as a hedge-fund manager BECAUSE I realized how fake the teaching world was in trading.
I want you to focus on learning how things work.
If You Know What To Do, But You Don’t Want To Do It
You might be reading this saying, “I know what to do, but [insert reason]…”
You might need a little push.
Because whatever (or whoever) put that excuse in your head will just keep holding you back.
That is, until YOU decide to take action.
I guarantee that if you’ve told anyone you’re trading penny stocks, you’ve encountered negative people.
It might be a friend, a family member, or maybe even a social media follower. Somebody who is toxic with BS like this….
“Penny stocks are a scam. You can’t do it. Who do you think you are, anyway? No, this cannot be you. You’re not good at math. You didn’t go to college…”
Blah, blah, blah…
I’ve heard it all (thousands of times).
Guess what?
They Will Always Try To Put You Down
They’ll keep trying until you show them that you’ve done it.
Many, many of my students go through this. They have one (or more) person in their life feeding them BS.
Why am I bringing this up today?
Because I want you to understand the good AND the bad.
Some of my top students had doubters.
I don’t want to put down any of my students’ parents.
When they told their kids that trading stocks was risky and they should get a real job, they meant well.
They didn’t believe in trading as a career, and they wanted what they thought was best for their kids.
Who wouldn’t, right?
That includes Jack Kellogg and Kyle Williams.
Both had one parent who thought a real job was the right choice.
Now Kyle is approaching $10 million.
Past performance doesn’t indicate future results. But what did Jack and Kyle do?
They used it as motivation.
Here’s what I think… A normal job is boring
Who wants to live a boring life? Not me…
The beauty of trading is that while most traders lose, if you can be obsessed with studying…
If you develop an obsessive work ethic…
You have SO many more opportunities. And…
You have the potential for an exponential income curve.
Go back and look at Jack Kellogg’s early trades. He was making $50, $100, $200…
Now he’s at $25 million.
Here’s what I hope you understand…
If someone in your life is trying to hold you back with negativity…
You Are Not Alone
The simple thing you can do to prove them wrong is to be successful.

Your Fellow Students: Kyle Williams, Bryce Tuohey and Matt Monaco
That’s EXACTLY what Jack, Kyle, and SO many others have done.
The best revenge is massive success, but to do that, you need to study.
Some people think…
“Okay, Tim, I’m gonna prove that you’re real, let me try to just make as much money as I can.”
Guess what?
When someone does that, they inevitably fail.
It’s not about making as much money as you can.
You have to learn to wait for the good trades and how to size up over time.
In other words, you MUST focus on the process.
If you truly want to defeat that negative, toxic person in your life (which you should)…
Use it as a chip on your shoulder and try to get better.
If you only knew the dumb mistakes I’ve made in my life (it would horrify you).
What I DO know is trading, teaching and success.
I have so many haters out there. And so many of my students have doubters.
Remember…
The best vengeance is massive self-fulfillment and massive self-confidence.
Anybody can hate on me or doubt me.
I have SO much self-confidence that it is impenetrable (I am a fortress of self-confidence).
Why?
Because…
• I’ve achieved my childhood dreams.
• I’ve taken care of my family.
• I do charity with Karmagawa.
• I travel and teach and trade…
• AND I’m real in an industry full of fakes and frauds.
You can say whatever you want about me, and it just bounces off like arrows hitting a rock wall.
THAT is what I want for you.
