by Ian King September 24, 2024 Banyan Edge, Cryptocurrency, Investing
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” This is one of my favorite quotes. I’m not sure who said it, although it’s been incorrectly attributed to Mahatma Gandhi. To me, it describes the disruptive force of technology — incumbents ignore the upstarts, laugh at them, try to fend them off and then eventually lose to more efficient ways of doing things. Trading on such a short-term time frame is not only difficult — it’s almost impossible to do consistently.
