Brian Christopher
Brian Christopher is a certified public accountant and certified in financial forensics.
Originally from the Midwest, Brian has an extensive background in finance. He studied accounting as an undergrad and has an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago.
He served as a division controller of a Fortune 100 company. Later, he had a 12-year tenure as a bankruptcy and turnaround consultant. In this role, he provided financial consulting and analysis services, and spent a lot of time working with management and on spreadsheets. Brian most enjoyed assessing and valuing companies in this role. In his words:
-
When you’re doing a discounted cash flow analysis of a company, it doesn’t matter if you serve a court of law or an individual investor. The goal is accuracy.
-
The assumptions that you enter into your model drive your valuation. And years of practice help drive your ultimate decision to buy, sell or ignore a stock.
For 25 years, Brian has analyzed companies, from those with billions of dollars in sales to those with none.
His goal today is the same as when he came to Banyan Hill is 2018: to help regular Joes and Janes grow their wealth.
Here at Banyan, he is the editor of Profit Line, which allows his subscribers to follow company insiders to massive gains. He also edits Flow Matrix Alert, which helps readers take advantage of the profit potential in momentum investing. In addition, Brian writes for Smart Profits Daily, one of Banyan Hill’s free daily e-letters, every Thursday.
