Investors in companies like Uber, Lyft and DoorDash have been victims of a “bezzle.” That’s when a con man has managed to take your money … but YOU don’t know it yet. In today’s video, Ted explains why these so called “flywheel platform” companies can never be profitable without breaking basic laws of economic and social fairness — not to mention many laws. The worst part is that these companies have known this all along, but as part of a strategy to divert everyone’s attention from that, they have subsidized an entire generation’s lifestyle. Based on recent market action, that is almost certainly about to come to an end.
