Do you remember the 2021 “Reddit Rally” that triggered an unbelievable surge for GameStop?
Well, influencer Keith Gill had a lot to do with it.
Known as “Roaring Kitty” on YouTube and another persona on Reddit’s WallStreetBets, Gill first appeared in 2021 by destroying hedge funds that bet against video game retailer GameStop (NYSE: GME).
But what most people don’t know is how he did it.
Gill previously worked at a start-up, where he tried to build software to help investors analyze shares. That experience helped him to understand how to analyze a company’s financials.
While unemployed in 2017, his interest in analyzing and investing in stocks grew…
And in June 2019, it all came together when GameStop’s shares fell. Gill believed they were undervalued.
After scooping up GME options, Gill made his position known on WallStreetBets, pumped up the hype on his YouTube channel…
And it resulted in the “Reddit Rally” — a phenomenon that saw GME skyrocket 1,600% in a trading frenzy.
Now, I’m not recommending you invest into GameStop, or any other meme stocks. Not at all.
But by analyzing GameStop’s fundamentals, Gill was able to see an investment opportunity that Wall Street failed to recognize.
Here at Banyan Hill, we aim to do the same thing.
That’s why today, I have a special announcement…
