Trade Alert: 4 Trades and a Big Announcement

Today, the Stock Trader Alert portfolio has four new trades on tap. But first, we have a special note for all of you:

Thank you!

After eight months of beta testing, we finally have a strategy that excels and that I’m incredibly proud of.

That’s why I’m excited to say that we’ll be launching the full Stock Trader Alertservice next week.

I sincerely want to give a big thank-you to all of you for helping us get here. Your input over the past eight months on issues like the portfolio size and the “whipsaw” trading rule was invaluable. Arriving at this point wouldn’t have been possible without your help, your willingness to explore this portfolio strategy and your insightful commentary.

I want you to know that I greatly appreciate your contributions during this beta test. I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

Over the past eight months, you’ve realized a total portfolio gain of about 131% through the Stock Trader Alert system, including our current open positions. Yes, there were some losing positions included in there, but our trading system prospered in the end.

And now, with a successful beta test under our belt, we’re ready to go live with the full service next week. I’ll be honest — even with our extensive research and lengthy backtesting, the beta results continue to impress me.

So I hope that you’re ready to join me next Tuesday when we launch the official version of Stock Trader Alert — which will include a text-alert service.

Keep in mind, however, that the launch of this full service means that our beta test will conclude as well. That means you’ll no longer receive trade alerts for this beta test after next Monday.

If you’re not joining us in the launch of the new service, that means managing your current Stock Trader Alert positions on your own going forward. Don’t worry, though. There is a simple guideline for managing the portfolio:

If one of your holdings dips below its eight-month moving average, it’s time to sell. This can be easily tracked on free sites like StockCharts.com. Otherwise, take profits where you are comfortable.

But in order to continue realizing the types of gains we’ve seen, I urge you to take advantage of the official Stock Trader Alert offer that will be revealed next week.

Again, thank you for helping us shape Stock Trader Alert.

Now let’s turn to your new trades…
