Throughout the decades, the Chinese have been known for being wise.

China, after all, is the home of philosophers like Confucius and Sun Tzu, the author of The Art of War.

I bring this up because China is also the purported source of an ancient curse that you may have heard James Dale Davidson say before: “May we live in interesting times.”

The quote may, on the face of it, seem like a positive wish. But it has always been said with a healthy dose of irony.

Thus, “interesting times” is more representative of “bad times.”

In this Davidson Unplugged, James and I talk a little bit about the implications of this curse in our day and age. We also discuss:
